A little something extra… In addition to your safari, you may wish to add an excursion or two. We have selected some of our favorite excursions that we consider “must dos” when in Kenya or Tanzania. Please note some of these excursions may already be a part of your safari. We have our ears on the ground, so anytime something interesting comes to our attention, we will add it on our list of things to see and explore.
	Visit a Village Spend the day at a traditional village of any of the various tribes of Kenya. Visit their traditional dwellings and see what a day in the life of a villager is like.
	Balloon Safari Take a breathtaking balloon ride over the scenic Masaai Mara and float in silence as you observe the game below. Celebrate the ride with a champagne breakfast prepared for you wherever your balloon lands!
	Giraffe Manor Stay at or visit the Giraffe Manor in Nairobi, Kenya, the only place where you can enjoy such close proximity to the elegant and graceful giraffe. Feed them as they visit you at the breakfast table!
	Daphne Sheldrick’s Orphanage for baby elephant and rhino A truly inspiring place. A home for orphaned baby elephants and rhinos rescued from near death and disaster. 	Masaai Market The city’s largest organized market where over 350 Masai craftsmen and women come to display their wares every week. A unique shopping experience, this is a great opportunity to stock up on gifts and souvenirs. For your comfort and convenience, huge open air markets are set up each week with registered and qualified authentic vendors selling the best of curios, artifacts, masks, carvings, art work, fabric, etc.
	Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary A unique opportunity to visit the home to over 100 rare and endangered elephants in moist, deciduous forests. This is a community-owned effort for the conservation and protection of these gentle giants.
	Karen Blixen Museum Visit the former home and farm of Karen Blixen, the famous writer of Out of Africa. Located in the lush Nairobi countryside, this idyllic spot is reminiscent of the old days, and the Museum compliments the experience with its historical feel.
